SCENARIO DETAILS:

Welcome to Russia Comrades!  During the Cold War which lasted from the mid-1940s to about 1990, the U.S.S.R. was one of the superpowers of the world and had built up an immense military.  Their military strength rivaled that of the U.S. and comprised of everything from spy satellites and advanced fighter jets to nuclear missiles.  The Soviet Union was also renowned for their espionage, military intelligence, and advances in military technological research. But after 1985 economic tension caused the people of the country to push forward political change and the end of the once powerful U.S.S.R. was approaching.

On Christmas Day of 1991, the fall of the Soviet Union was final.  Over the course of the next few weeks what was left of the Soviet Military fell apart.  Many military bases were left unmanned and unsecured.  This made a wealth on information and technology open for the taking.  It is now the spring of 1992 and the United States and China both have forces in the fallen U.S.S.R. to search these abandoned Soviet military installations and recover any information/intelligence that is discovered.  Both sides will be competing for the same secret information.  Because of the unreliable satellite communications, both forces will have to fight over communication “hot spots” so they can transmit their informational spoils.

Teams:

(US) - Desert, ACU, Multicam, Black and Civilian Clothing
(China) - Green Patterns

Tan (US) Missions:
Search every structure for “Classified Intelligence” and report to CO.
Secure 7 different communications “Hot Spots” at various points and times.
Guard prison camp to keep prisoners from being rescued by Chinese forces.
Rescue any US forces being held in Chinese prison camp

Green (China) Missions:
Search every structure for “Classified Intelligence” and report to CO.
Secure 7 different communications “Hot Spots” at various points and times.
Guard prison camp to keep prisoners from being rescued by US forces.
Rescue any Chinese forces being held in US prison camp.

New Web Design
Written by GreenGiant

Hey Everybody!

Well I guess you all have seen that we have done a little remodeling around here.  We decided to redo the website from the ground up because it was time for a change.  As you can see we have tried to make the site as user friendly as possible and hopefully easier to navigate than the old site.  We have changed our webhost to hopefully a faster and more stable host.  We would like to know what you think about the design.  If you have suggestions, comments, or compliments please post them in the forum using this link:  http://www.natocommand.com/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=26&topic=1158.0

We look forward to your input.  Please remember that this site is here for YOU and anything we can do to improve your experience, we will try to do.

Thanks,

        GreenGiant
